Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an appointment take?
Your initial BioScan appointment is approximately 60–90 minutes.
This gives us time to complete your scan, discuss your wellness goals, review your results and create personalized recommendations based on your priorities.
Follow-up appointments are typically shorter.
Is BioScan painful?
Not at all. The BioScan process is non-invasive and comfortable.
Electrodes are placed at specific contact points on the fingers or toes while the BioScan system measures responses through the software.
There are no needles or invasive procedures involved.
Can I have a BioScan while pregnant?
BioScan appointments are not offered during pregnancy or to individuals with certain implanted electrical devices, such as a pacemaker.
If you're pregnant, you're welcome to book once you're postpartum.
If you have an implanted medical device or aren't sure whether BioScan is appropriate for you, please contact us before booking.
How many BioScans will I need?
There isn't a one-size-fits-all schedule.
Some clients book a BioScan as a proactive wellness check-in, while others choose follow-ups as they work toward specific goals.
If a follow-up would be beneficial, we'll discuss an appropriate timeline based on your individual wellness plan.
How much does it cost?
Initial BioScan — $249
Includes your comprehensive scan, results review, personalized recommendations, supplement testing, wellness protocol and report.
Follow-Up BioScan — $179
Mini, Distance and Pet BioScan options are available.
Are services covered by benefits?
Coverage varies depending on your insurance provider and individual plan.
We do not direct bill. A receipt can be provided following your appointment, which you may submit to your benefits provider if your plan offers coverage.
We recommend confirming eligibility directly with your insurance provider before booking if reimbursement is important to you.
What should I bring?
Bring any supplements or wellness products you're currently taking and would like included in your supplement testing.
It's also helpful to come prepared with your current health goals and anything you'd like to discuss during your appointment.
How do I prepare?
Come well hydrated and follow the preparation instructions provided before your appointment.
You'll receive everything you need to know before your visit so you can arrive prepared for your scan.
